Stepwise Introduction to HPLC - 2 parts of 1 day each
This course is in two separate 1 day ‘stepwise’ parts for ease of learning and covers the essential concepts and operational principles of High Performance Liquid Chromatography. This course is for you if you are involved in HPLC or are going to be involved in HPLC, in a practical, hands on capacity. No previous HPLC training is necessary, although a basic understanding of HPLC would be helpful. Delegates will receive the greatest benefit by registering for both parts, although it is entirely possible to take either part independently from the other. HPLC Troubleshooting - 1 day
“HPLC Troubleshooting” is an intensive one day course that teaches you the ins and outs of solving problems that may occur with your LC methods. More importantly you’ll learn how to prevent many of these problems from occurring in the first place. Advanced HPLC Method Development - 2 days
If you've ever wished that HPLC method development was more logical and methodical, this is the course for you. HPLC Method Development - 1 day
Reversed-phase method development is looked upon as a mystery by many chromatographers. Good resolution can be a hidden treasure which either requires too much time to find or entirely eludes the earnest seeker. This course guides the chromatographer through each step of the pathway that leads to achieving good resolution. Introduction to LC-MS - 1 day
This course is for chromatographers who need to gain a basic understanding of LC-MS. It will also be useful for managers or other lab staff who would like a foundation of understanding to help communicate with workers involved in LC-MS analysis. Examples centre around the most common applications of LC-MS – the analysis of drugs in biological extracts. Validating HPLC Methods - 1 day
If you are now, or will be, developing HPLC methods and have questions about method validation, documentation, and regulatory compliance issues, then this is the course for you. Attendees should have attended an Advanced HPLC Method Development course or have equivalent experience (at least one year of HPLC Method Development work). This course is not for novices. This course is for all chromatographers who wish to improve or develop separations of polar compounds or wish to keep up to date with the latest technological developments in this area. This course explains the application and use of the HILIC technique, which opens up a unique possibility for the separation of polar or hydrophilic substances using simple, usually LC-MS compatible, buffer systems. Big Molecules - Big Challenges (SEC,HIC,Affinity) - 1 day
This one-day program will acquaint you with how to characterise and purify larger molecules such as proteins, monoclonal antibodies and pharmaceutical excipients, focusing on complementary techniques to traditional reversed-phase HPLC such as size-exclusion, ion-exchange, HIC and affinity chromatography. The course is suitable for scientists already using these techniques, as well as those familiar with the analysis of small molecules who are looking to apply chromatographic techniques to larger molecules. Using Drylab HPLC Simulation Software (1/2 day) and Advanced Features of Drylab (1/2 day)
This course is in two seperate 1/2 day parts. Part one covers the essential skills and techniques considered necessary to use DryLab computer simulation method development software to speed up your HPLC method development and produce more reliable, robust HPLC methods. Thi course is suitablefor those who are unfamiliar with DryLab or as a refresher course for those who have used DryLab in the past. Part two covers some of the newer and more advanced features of DryLab including:- peak tracking, advanced robustness testing, 3D cube modelling and quality by design. This course is suitable for those who have some familiarity with DryLab software (or those who have sat in on the morning presentation) and need to increase method development efficiency in the lab.
