HPLC Technical Sales Specialist (Ref: HTSS#08W)

	The successful candidate will have considerable sales experience, together with a good knowledge of HPLC and other areas of chromatography . Whilst this role is a sales position and good customer relationship building skills, combined with a flair for communication are integral to the role, technical ability and experience are of equal importance

Job Description:
	Developing new sales opportunities and expanding existing sales through managing the southern UK customer territory and through ownership of nominated key accounts

	Providing sales support including pricing and product recommendations in all areas of chromatography

	Attending, supporting, organising technical seminars and exhibitions both on & off customer sites. Authoring & presenting when required

	Maintaining current knowledge of new product developments (NPD) from all suppliers & our own manufacturing and R&D facilities with a view to updating customers on NPD as necessary

Key Skills:
	Proven communication skills - all media Competence in developing & maintaining customer relationships Travel will be required, therefore candidates must hold a UK driver's licence Demonstratable presentation skills

Experience:	at least 5 years in sales with similar HPLC experience

Location:	Reading based

HPLC Technical Specialist (Ref: HTS#08W)

	The successful candidate will have a strong technical competence, excellent theoretical and practical experience in all areas of Reversed-Phase HPLC and have some knowledge of other areas of chromatography (such as GPC, Affinity, Ion, GC, TLC etc). Whilst the role is a technical position, customer contact is integral to the role and good customer relationship building skills, combined with a flair for communication are equally important.

Job Description:
	Responding to all UK customer technical queries on a daily basis, offering technical support, recommendations and advice in all areas of chromatography

	Providing excellent technical support to our world-wide distributor base, including product support, assisting with pricing for tenders etc.

	Liaising and maintaining excellent relations with our world-wide supplier base at a technical and brand level. Maintaining current knowledge of new product development (NPD) from all suppliers & our own manufacturing and R&D facilities with a view to updating customers on NPD as necessary.

	Project management of the marketing of key product brands and working to ensure their continued success both in the UK or further afield.

Key Skills:
	Proven HPLC technical ability Communications skills - all media

Experience:	5 years HPLC competence

Location:	Reading based

Salary:	Competitive salary plus benefits
